2015 Certified Seed Cleaning

One of the busiest, hottest, and dirtiest times of the year has almost come and gone.  Seed cleaning is one of the last elements of a two year plan to grow each variety of wheat.  This is why it is important to utilize a seed cleaner you trust and is capable of doing an excellent job.  We have been using  Grain Conditioning Inc. for several years now; who uses 3 length graders to ensure the purest sample possible.  Once the seed has been cleaned, samples from every variety are sent into the state inspection labs to evaluate purity, germination, and all other seed characteristics.  All of the samples must meet a list of standards before it may be sold as certified seed.

It takes a lot of coordination, time, sweat cleaning bins, and hard work moving heavy equipment in the heat of the summer; but we gladly do it – so you don’t have to.
